It’s coffee in whiskey, and proofed down to 30%. And unsweetened. To that point, it does it’s job if you like unsweetened coffee in whiskey. Don’t go expecting much, but you can get creative with it.
So —I use this for a nice hot summer drink—-I take whipped coffee foam, add milk, ice, and an ounce of this. Makes for an amazing hot afternoon drink. Also makes an amazing adult tiramisu. Dip the lady fingers in this instead of espresso, and adds a nice twist to the dessert.
Worth the money? Hell no. You’d better off buying a cheap Irish whiskey and adding good coffee to it.

@PBMichiganWolverine That ice cream sounds awesome :)
@PBMichiganWolverine Gotcha, Googled it and all is clear - thought it was a specific product.
@cascode the coffee foam is just something I conjured up—-so, I take 2 teaspoons instant coffee, 3 teaspoons water, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar ( can add more if you like it sweeter). I whip it up till it thickens and forms peaks—-liked whipped egg whites. To another mug, I add ice, milk, and top it with this coffee foam. The ice cream maker idea sounds good. I made tequila cocoa ice cream using Teremana tequila. This might be a similar concept
@PBMichiganWolverine What is whipped coffee foam? We don't have that over here. Yes, I can see the validity of this as a flavouring for sure. I wonder if you could use it in an ice-cream maker 😃
@cascode totally agree....whiskey in coffee , like Irish coffee, is amazing. This seemed more like designed to do other things with it...which is why I conjured up it’s use in the coffee foam over ice and milk, and tiramisu
Whisky in coffee, sure, but coffee in whisky? WTF 🤨 The marketing side of the industry is off the rails. Just make good juice, stick it in a good cask and leave it alone for 10 years. Job done.
Hard pass
@ctbeck11 the tiramisu version of this was a huge hit at a friend’s. Really simple to make too.
I had a similar impression. It’s definitely not meant to be taken neat. The tiramisu idea sounds delicious though.
