Color: Tawny / Auburn Nose: Wonderfully, fragrant nose. Slight ethanol but not at all overpowering. Oak, banana, caramelized sugar and a slight, but noticeable, tropical fruit note. Palate: Light to medium mouthfeel. Bold and upfront with powerful hints of char and roasted chestnuts. The ethanol is strong at first but quickly settles out leaving you with the more nuanced flavors of chocolate and banana. Finish: Long, pleasing finish that doesn’t evolve or diminish over time. The banana notes tend to stick with the finish and slightly overpower the other notes of chocolate and chestnut.
