Deep copper color. The nose has caramel chew candy, powdered sugar, vanilla frosting, and a citrus note like orange marmalade and maybe even tangerine. Full-bodied mouthfeel. The palate has typical bourbon notes of vanilla and caramel, cherry cola, ground cinnamon, white pepper, faint notes of roasted peanuts, toasted grains and buttery pie crust, and a lot of oak. The finish is medium-long and dry, dominated by the oak with subtle notes of roasted peanuts and baking spices. A solid pour, but not exceptional for the price.
