Nose:
Sweet and Floral rose petals make their way to the front! Absolutely fantastic barrel sugars follow closely bringing along honey and vanilla notes. Very fruity with orange peel and strawberry accents.
This is so good! I could smell this all day. There is very little burn or astringent notes present
Palate:
Soft and rounded. The Orange peel and floral sweetness shows up immediately. Very light and delicate dram with crust honey. There is a slight oaky bitterness but it’s not overpowering and actually balanced out the sweetness quite nicely. Juicy fruit bubblegum also makes an appearance!
Floral notes later do return but with less initial sweetness. Not super complex I think but very good at what it offers.
Finish:
Clean and pretty is what comes to mind. Does leave behind an oaky presence that’s slightly tannic. Floral and zesty fruit is the last thing I taste before it just kinda lifts away gently.
Somewhat short finish that does leave me somewhat wanting and wishing for more.
