I get the port influence on the nose as well as vanilla. Fairly sweet with caramel, dark chocolate, and fruit. Very smooth, with only the slightest hint of spice and maybe a whiff of oak. The finish is short and dry. Not a bad sip, but I would rank this below some of the other finished bourbons I've tried, like Rabbit Hole Daringer and Angel's Envy. It's also a bit cheaper, so it's a trade off.

Solid analysis. I still struggle with finished bourbon and haven’t been impressed by anything outside of Belle Meade Sherry finish. Port and bourbon this far don’t do it for me. Some of the Armagnac finished bourbons have my interest though.
