I don’t have the best glass for nosing but I get aromas of cherry, brown sugar, cinnamon, and something that reminds me of pastry dough. Rich caramel, vanilla, and cinnamon spice on the palate. This whiskey isn’t going to rough you up. The finish is soft but lingering with cinnamon and vanilla. Maybe a slight toffee or butterscotch. This is my favorite bourbon to date (not that I’ve tried many). I think if this was about 94 proof it would be perfect. I’ve never been disappointed with anything from Wild Turkey.
