Style - Neat in a Norlan. Nose - Smoke (duh), candied apple sweetness, slight nail polish. Taste - Hard to detect much past the smoke, but I’m not complaining about it. Finish - Burns quick but dissipates to a nice warmth in the back of the throat. Score - 3.25, solid bang for the buck. Scoring Legend 5.0 - Near perfect, there is something truly special about this whisky. 4.5 - Amazing, will always try to keep a bottle of this in my collection (if feasible). 4.0 - Very Good, maybe only one minor nitpick about the whisky keeping it here. 3.5 - Good, quite enjoyable to drink. 3.0 - Solid, wouldn't go out of my way to get it. 2.5 - Meh, still drinkable. Under 2.5 - If you have a bottle of this, start cooking with it instead.
