Hazelburn 13 Year Old 2007
Single Malt — Campbeltown, Scotland
Reviewed

Nose: Dried fruit - raisins, chocolate, coffee
Palate: Citrus, orange, chocolate, black pepper, oak, dried fruit
Finish: Medium finish, gristy, oak, raisins, coffee.
There is a watered down feel to this whisky. Not bad, but there is a feeling of something missing in the layers. Generally OK.

@PBMichiganWolverine This expression didn’t have as much of the Campbeltown funk as many others from Hazelburn. It just seemed a little thin.
I had an earlier version from 2019. Personally I loved it—-had this funky dirty yet sweet taste. Here in the US, it is overpriced though, at $130 or so
