My dear @PBMichiganWolverine - We are normally in agreement when it comes to spirits but I beg to differ on this one. It’s a stinky delight. Blue cheese, wet hay and eau du barnyard are some of my favorite drink aromas and this one delivers in filth-covered spades. The palate is a little dry and short — almost more like a London gin than a mezcal - but I’d happily spend an evening with a glass or two of this.

@Richard-ModernDrinking yeah, see I liked Waterford. I think it’s the blue cheese. Hay is fine, blue cheese...not so much.
@PBMichiganWolverine send me all your stinky spirits! This one gave me a hankering for a Waterford, another barnyard favourite.
@ctbeck11 yeah...nowadays my version of crazy ass wild is briefly taking my mask off at Trader Joe’s.
@Richard-ModernDrinking aaah...see, I can’t stand blue cheese. That combined with the hay just didn’t do it for me
Mezcal profiles are so divisive, more so than probably any other spirit’s on here, even among the aficionados. As for me, gimme them stinky delights. @PBMichiganWolverine’s rural highway and unmentionable Midwest corn field tomfoolery sounds pretty wild, though.
