I was looking forward to enjoying this Glenlivet expression but, unfortunately it didn’t live up to the expectation. There’s definitely Glenlivet’s DNA in the bottle but, the rum cask-finishing didn’t really add enough identity or character to it so, the execution fell short. It is not “bad” but, it’s not worthwhile either.
