Tulip blending glass, served neat
Light rust in appearance
Nose: cherries, Snapple peach tea, vanilla, some grapey undertones
Palate: medium mouth feel, Carmel and toffee, candied oranges, oak, vanilla, almost no burn
Finish: short, vanilla and oak, some brown sugar
T8ke scale: 7, great, well above average
I’ve enjoyed this a lot over the years, normally around $45 now (used to be $35), but a really nice single barrel, still kinda amazed the taters haven’t pushed it to allocated status, given it’s a blend of mashbill 1&2.
It’s better and cheaper and more available then Blantons, Elmer or Rock Hill Farms
I’d love to get my hands on a barrel select at barrel proof!
