The nose has roasted peanuts, leather, cherry cough drops, and burnt sugar. Full-bodied mouthfeel. More roasted peanuts on the palate, along with cherry pie a la mode (think cherry pie filling, buttery pie crust, and melting vanilla ice cream), with notes of black pepper, raw cinnamon stick, nutmeg, a hint of bubble gum and a good amount of oak. The finish is medium-long and hot, the peanuts are the first thing you notice and the last thing that leaves you, with more baking spices and oak popping up along the way.
