Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond
Rye — Kentucky, USA

Surprising for a rye.
Sticky body. A higher viscosity than expected.
Nose is sweet. Vanilla and caramel with hints of oak and cinnamon.
Taste is fire. Burns all the way down, at 50ABV, a little expected but definitely more than usual. Pretty mellow on the palette, tastes like baked bread with a hint of vanilla with a slight pepperiness from the rye.
Burn on the finish with a slight numbing and hints of cinnamon.
