Tried it with just a couple drops of water. Nice smell but not really strong on the nose (whiskey glass, too). Sweet apple fruit up front. Quite smooth transition to a which heat is more spicy taste/feel than a alcohol burn. Then a few juice notes (maybe sherry?) bring us to the toffee/caramel finish which liiiingers.
I think I prefer it without the water; seems to take the edge off that peppery / cinnamon-y bit? And I like that bit.
