Dean-M-Tzobanakis
Macallan 18 Year Sherry Oak Cask
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

This was rich, viscous, mature, and complex. Light wood notes bring a little spice, but the Sherry cask brings all the best fruit notes, and no bitterness. The finish is rich and lasts a good while. Pricey bottle, but excellent pour.

@Dean-M-Tzobanakis no better way to enjoy a scotch.
@Scott_E I generally agree that Macallan is good but hard to justify spending so much money on. Thankfully, I got to try this one at a bar on someone else’s dime 😁
This one has eluded me. Intrigued but unwilling to pay such a high entrance fee to play. Haven’t seen many poor reviews.
