Its not really fair for me to be reviewing this since Im not a flavored tequila drinker. As in I would never purchase it for home use. As in I have never in my life had it before now outside of tequila rose in high school. I take my spirits neat or on the rocks if I must. So I cant say if this is hits the spot for the target audience. I will say it is very sweet, and tastes very much like pineapple juice infused with jalapeno. Im sure it makes for a great pineapple jalapeno flavored margarita. It doesnt make for a great sipper taken neat. And really what maniac would ever even try that? So, if you are looking for a pineapple jalapeno tequila to make tropical cocktails and get wastey on the patio, I know of no better option. As far as Im aware this is the best of its class and priced very fairly. What i do know of Dulce Vida is they at least went about producing this line of products in a very expensive and all out balls to the wall fashion. They purchased farmland and oversaw the growth of the agave. They age their line of straight tequilas for more than adequate amounts of time, and their website features a user-submitted photograph of a woman in a bikini top sitting spread eagle on a picnic blanket in some grass somewhere and I do strongly believe that by providing this libation in certain settings with certain individuals, you will greatly increase the chance of being able to personally have a similar experience as what is depicted in the photograph.
