Damn fine. Was never impressed in the past. However, first, I like Islay scotches historically which means I don’t enjoy my favorite scotches in the summer. I enjoyed this one. Second, I smoked a fine cigar when I had it last (this past weekend). Two cigars each, two guys, we finished a bottle in two consecutive days. Excellent.
I think the price is what gives people pause. If this were priced at $150, it would be rated at 95 or above. I drank it for free and it’s clearly better than Highland Park 18.
