Color: Chestnut / Tawny Nose: Oak | Vanilla | Hint of Red Fruit (Cherry/Strawberry) | Light Ethanol Very pleasant and inviting nose despite an overall backing of ethanol. Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Very smooth start with no traces of ethanol out of the gate. Well rounded with hints of oak, vanilla, and a certain sweetness, perhaps molasses. The sweetness is subtle but reminds me a little of the Woodford Reserve Double Oaked but extremely toned down. Finish: A very slight ethanol burn comes at the very end of the palate and last through the finish but not overwhelming. The notes experienced on the palate continue through the finish making it overall pleasant.
