First time trying. Bottle only opened for a couple of days. Enjoying neat after resting the glass 15 minutes.
Nose - chocolate fudge, sugar and caramel with a sweetness overload. Also get some hints of candies cherries and fruity notes.
Taste - wow this is a sweet bourbon for the 117 proof. Sugar and vanilla kick this one off along with cherries in the middle. The finish is nice, robust and pungent with a lot of fruits, oak, and more sugar that balances out the sweet start to this bourbon.
Overall - very impressed with an uncut bourbon store pick with this much flavors for only 40$. What more can a bourbon lover as for?! Well done Wine World on your store pick and BR Distilling company.

I have the Seelbach version of this. Interesting bit of story on this——apparently, a summer storm collapsed the warehouse where these were held. Most barrels were destroyed, but a few survived. The ones that survived were left out to the environment. These were impacted even more so to the changing weather and temperature. These were the ones bottled and sold…and for $40, was a no-brainer buy
