Nose: Lemon cake, ripe blackberry jam, shoe polish, and vanilla
Palate: warm butter toast with baking spice and tobacco
Finish: warm with notes of barrel spice, tobacco, and butter
Marvelous whisky with unique flavors that scream “Texas” but do not leave a scotch lover wanting.

@Ctrexman yeah, totally. There’s a handful of US distillers that embody the regional flavor. Balcones scrams big bold Texas. St George for California innovation. McKenzie for New York farm to glass. And I think DelBac for Arizona mesquite desert heat.
