Nose- caramel and vanilla. Light spice.
Palate- initial taste of caramel and light spice. The transitions to vanilla and more spice on the finish.
Finish- maintains light spice with an aftertaste of vanilla and caramel.
Overall- not a smooth as it’s higher priced, high proof, counterparts. But where there is a rough edge, the flavor is overall sweet. For the price, it is a fun conversation piece, but maybe not give it to someone new to bourbons.
