This is just delicious. My understanding is that these barrels are used for Angel's Envy Rye... I start here because that's a favorite and how I was led to this gem. Sweet Aroma of mostly molasses & brown sugar with strong hints of banana to come. Which came first? Chicken/egg? Does this remind me of bananas foster because Rum is in it? Or is rum in Bananas Foster because it pairs so well and Banana notes are prevalent in the profile. Either way that's what I think of in both Aroma and flavor. Sticky mouth feel and all the same flavors as above with the addition of vanilla. In fact, should have noted vanilla extract in the Aroma. Almost Creamy with black licorice notes Glorious
