Blended — Ireland

Sweeter for an Irish whiskey. I appreciate that it's bottled at 45% vs. the typical measly 40%. Bottled in KC, MO, but I'm to lazy to go looking and don't really care that much, but I wonder where this comes from.

@soonershrink Its from Restless Spirits in Kansas City Mo If that was not already mentioned - I am half asleep so maybe it was already stated.
@bigwhitemike Hey neighbor! I am sure they have it over at Gomer’s Lenexa or other favorite haunts but I am also considering going over for a tour of the distillery for the heck of it. Thanks for replying! I am looking forward to trying this after reading the reviews here. I have tried other local brands and not been thrilled.
@JoelyO howdy neighbor! I have not seen on the KS side yet, so I’m thinking it must be avail in MO. Depending on what part of town I may have a recommendation for a specific retailer but you may well have already found a favorite or two.
Relocated to KC right before Covid. Where do I go to find this? @bigwhitemike any info would be appreciated!
@bigwhitemike I'll be interested to hear what you think.
@soonershrink have not yet had it but intend to. A new release starting this fall, I think. Their standard whiskey has always been sourced (then dosed with sherry) so interested to have their first major in-house distillate and glad they gave it a proper aging. If you find yourself in KC their tasting room/distillery is gorgeous (IMO).
@bigwhitemike Nice! Different distillery, but still KC, I just saw Rieger BiB Rye on the shelf. Have you tried?
From KC so naturally I can offer a bunch of baseless info as internet fact. I’m pretty sure they have a 15-yr pot still import version (guessing from Middleton like most Irish) but this 4-yr is produced by Teeling.
