A ryer version of the regular Knob bourbon. Has the leathery vanilla of the bourbon, but adds the slightest rye spice. I'm sure I've had bourbons that taste more like rye, so one shouldn't go in expecting a traditional rye profile. This keeps good company with other low rye ryes, like Rittenhouse and Pikesville, and to some extent Wild Turkey Rye 101, although WTR101 has more of the traditional rye flavor. I like as well as Rittenhouse. I like this better than regular Knob bourbon. Not as good as Pikesville, but about 10$ cheaper, here anyway. I prefer WTR101 and Russell's Reserve 6 yr Rye. WTR101 is a little cheaper, but this might appeal more more to someone who likes bourbon and is just wanting to try a bit more of the rye spice. The 100 proof is nice. Solid bourbony rye, but I'm likely more inclined to stick with WTR101 for my inexpensive regular rye.
