So much peat…
Ok, so let’s get this straight.
This is basically an Edradour, but better, heavy peat, and a dark red wine cask.
So:
Nose: peat, smoke, red wine, tannins, oak, fruits. Sugar.
Pallet: drying, oaky smoke. Pepper, red wine tannins, stewed stone fruits. Spicy wood.
Finish: peppery, sugar and a little dry. Long finish.
