Nose. Vanilla and ginger.
Palate. Light, creamy and a nice hit of peat/smoke.
Finish. Medium. Some smoke lingers and a peppery, spicy warmth develops.
This is a decent NAS whisky that should satisfy peat fans. It’s lacking some depth and complexity but for what you pay it’s a nice drink. I much prefer the more expensive The English Heavily Smoked, however that benefits from an age statement and for being bottled at 46%.
