Initially a bit hot/ethanol-ly but mellows out after sitting for a bit. Orange peel flavor is strong and lingers nicely. Enough spice but not a ton. Light mouthfeel. Solid pickup.

did you have Parkers Heritage Orange Curacao finished and if so how do these two compare? I must admit in the Parker's bottle the orange flavors were bitter and overpowering. I dig Starlights rye expressions but trying to wrap my brain around this one not being a spicy, bitter mess. hoping the wine vdn was less cutting than curacao
