Very floral and herbaceous nose with lots of lavender, rosemary and juniper, and hints of pine, grated ginger, ground cardamom and ground coriander. The palate is a melange of floral, sweet and spice, with lavender, pine and juniper up front, developing into candied ginger and candied orange peel, then dry ginger, lemongrass and white pepper. The finish is fairly short, with lingering notes of lavender, candied orange peel, lemon zest and lemongrass. I'm not a huge gin fan, but even for me this is a sipper that you spend some time with and experience the developing complexities.
