Nose: Sherry, brown sugar, baking spices, stewed apples, pears, plums, and raisins.
Palate: Rich, peat smoke, saltwater, brown sugar, vanilla, with sherried fruits. Apples, plums, raisins, and red berries. Long finish with baking spices, brown sugar, vanilla, leather, sweet mild tobacco, and licorice.
Final Thoughts: By itself it's an interesting bottle. Tasting it with a Laphroaig CS batch 11 and batch 12, I can't help but notice that it does subdue the typical notes that I love about Laphroaig. That said, it's complex and I find differents notes with each nosing and tasting.
