Lot 40 (Canadian Rye) 43% abv. Bottled in Canada. No age, minimum is 3 years. 100% rye, copper pot still used and aged in new oak. Aroma: fruity, apple, bourbon like. Taste: bourbon like, lightly fruity, some charred oak notes. Light to moderate spice. Cost: 34.99+tax for a 750ml bottle. Grade: C+/B- (decent whisky but I expected better, I am willing to revisit in the future)
