The bottle is perfume shaped and the contents are aswirl with the the likeness of chocolate covered cherries yet still this has a masculinity that shan’t be denied. Like the pretty boy who is surprisingly a tough athlete with good character. It holds up well in cocktails, has a makers mark-like depth of complexity. It’s a bit disarming and polarizing. It can either look great on your shelf or you’ll hate it. It can taste great on the palate or you’ll hate it. But this here is a bit of a legend (though the name change sort of disrupted that and isn’t doing it any favors in the “Memorable” department, should one exist) I see why it’s earned a spot as a daily drinker for some. Not for me, but I will enjoy a dram from time to time and wonder how a whiskey can somehow be metrosexual and hardy at the same time.
