Russell's Reserve 10 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

Nose: big vanilla, oak, toffee a touch of cinnamon?
Palate: a good bit of oak, more vanilla, caramel, baking spices, a hint of sweet mint.
Finish: more oak, vanilla and caramel with some spicy rye. The finish is short but makes an impression.
In a world of no age statement bourbon this stands out with the big oak flavors. While wt101 is a better "deal" and Russel's reserve single barrel is better whiskey, this has its place as an easy drinking bourbon with for a fair price.
