This one goes in the favourites right away! Makes me want to put a parrot on my shoulder and have a peg for me right leg. Yarrrr! Very, very (I mean very) sweet on the nose. Banana, vanilla and some kind of candyfloss(ish) in the back. A very peculiar scent. Reminds me when one bakes banana bread and opens the oven to take it out and the hot air filled with the scent just hits one in the face. That sweet aroma is just so inviting. Taste does not disappoint either. It does follow with the same notes and mutates into a sweet honeydew(ish), syrupy taste. Still, there is that banana and strong vanilla taste and something else which I just cannot describe... Dates or figs perhaps...? I am not a guy with a sweet tooth, but this is top shelf stuff if you like spiced rum. Very different from the "common" spiced rum experience.
