Sweet, but not syrupy or unbalanced. Kind of a "jammy" full, rounded fruit sweetness, but I do not discern much "fruit" in the palate. Very, very easy drinking without any hot notes or burn, despite the 46% For a bourbon wheater cocktail this could be money, makers is a touch sweet sometimes. For just drinking heaven hill I would probably grab 1783 instead.
