Surprisingly translucent color. Charcoal, brine, and citrus on the nose. A very spicy, peaty palate - overwhelmingly so in some senses. The peppery kick persists in the aftertaste too. It’s not the subtlest scotch, but I’m a sucker for peat, so I’m having fun
