Heavy wood notes and tobacco, with a hint of spearmint on the nose, deep and strong with the high ABV. First sip brings on thick caramel and cinnamon, it’s a strong contrast of sweet and spicy. Some pepper and oak barrel spice come through as well. The finish is oily and hot. A small drop of water brings out more caramel and mellows out the heat, and makes it even more of an oily mouthfeel.
