Quick rant, warning, and note of confusion: My factory-sealed sample of this came 1/3 empty. It was next to 3 other Jura samples, so I know what full looks like because that's what they were. I don't know if my sample is representative or what, but I might as well try it.
N: Mild peat, lemon zest, grass, and a mild earth layer underneath it also. Just slightly interesting. The faintest mint and a touch of ethanol, but really it's very little. This is a light nose, even with the peat.
P: Oh, the ABV has dropped here. It's flat. Time to derail this whole tasting. My refractometer tells me that this is just shy of 28% ABV. That's so absurdly low that there's really no reason for me to continue with my tasting. Tragedy, but that's it for this one.
The worst part of this tragedy is that I tasted real potential here and the palate even continued to have some decent complexity, but there just is no way that I'm going to attempt to rate a spirit that's been compromised to this extent.
I do get the peat and malt still on the palate. There's some grassiness and a little toasty brioche as well. Once I adjust my palate to the wateriness and kind of excess bitterness, it isn't too bad. There's a malty sweetness as well and the vaguest remnants of some swirling herbal and milder vegetal characters. There's some legacy of fruit that might have once been in the orange-tangerine-apricot range.
F: Look, I'm not going to even try here. It isn't bad as is (no off-notes), but that's as far as I'll go.
- Conclusion -
This honestly seems like it might have once been a good dram. I will definitely keep my eye open for another opportunity to try this one. I don't recommend trying it if the sealed bottled has lost 1/3 of its contents though.

I had this around 15 years ago and it was really quite good. I had meant to retry, but it was discontinued and what I read about the rest of Jura was quite discouraging.
