Batch 004 62.4% ABV Deep copper color. Rich nose with lots of toasted cinnamon, vanilla bean, and toffee, with notes of black tea, spearmint leaves, brown sugar, cloves and sweet oak. Heavy, oily, hot mouthfeel. The palate has cinnamon chewing gum, caramel chews candy, butter toffee, demerara sugar, allspice, nutmeg, spearmint tea, and white pepper. The finish is long and hot, with a blast of oak tannins followed by demerara sugar, toasted cinnamon stick, baking spices and spearmint tea.
