In my opinion this should be drank neat but I would imagine with a few drops of distilled water it might open some of the flavors up more? For the money this is a wonderful whiskey and should be on your beverage cart as an everyday sipper or something to impress friends! BTW the name of this whiskey is the year Kentucky became a state!
