The nose on this is absolutely beautiful. I'm getting caramel, vanilla, candied apples, and cinnamon right off the bat. There is a slight ethanol scent (likely due to the proof: 132.7) but in no ways takes away from the pleasant scents that come ahead of it. The nose has the classic JD banana bread note along with some heat and pepper spice. You get a nice oily, full mouth feel and then you get the oak spice for a medium to long finish. Love this one!
