Nose: Wet wood smoke, Germoline, medicinal, chemical, fruit (pear and berries). Pino Grigo white wine.
Palate: Full-bodied, rich and chewy. Toasted wood smoke, BBQ meat, sweet damp peat, plum jam. Hints of Amaretto.
Finish: Long finish. Creamy/buttery, wood smoke, vanilla cream, plum, pear. Meat, leather and cigar smoke on the aftertaste.
Sweet and woody more than peaty, despite the ridiculous PPM. This tastes of wood panelled offices, old wingback leather chairs, fast cars and austentatious luxury. More of a feeling than a taste. Wow, just wow! Damn! That's a good dram!
