If you like the heavily peated whiskies then definitely this will be one of your favourites.
In the nose you can smell it immediately. Like you smell the campfire. This dominates the whole experience, but your are not in rush you can easily recognise brine-sweetness as well and the the barley also come over.
On your palate the sweetness is surprisingly dominating - giving a nice invitation- in the first second than the peat kick the door in and grab your tongue to give after some space for the see salt and to the spices (anise, cardamom)
