Nose- Bananas Foster, Carmel and oak. There is also some cherry too.
Palate- Oak and a large bit of ethanol too. This was drying and tannic
Finish- Medium to long, drying and a bit biting.
Overall- I had high hopes. A once in a lifetime pour for me. Too tannic and hot. The flavors were condensed. Tried a bit of water which just dried it out more. Regardless of the price, hype, and wanting this to be good.....you can find way tastier for a fraction of the price.

@Swahili1 yeah, totally, very few people can actually say they’ve tried this one, unless your name is Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mukesh Ambani, or in those circles. Good or mediocre the experience is more memorable than anything else.
I was lucky indeed. I have a very good friend who works for Chicagoland's largest liquor chain. He has access to some wonderful stuff and was willing to share some amazing pours with me. Without that, believe me I couldn't have gotten near this whiskey.@PBMichiganWolverine
tasted it side by side Blade and Bow 22. the Blade and Bow was so much better and balanced in my opinion. I would have guessed the opposite going into tasting them.@PBMichiganWolverine
Wow disapointing. I've hard some rumors that the 25 wasn't that great. I know the 20 is like dancing on clouds in a dream world....but 5 more years isn't always needed.
@Swahili1 wow. This is a once in a lifetime for a lucky few. I’m shocked.
