Served: Neat, Flute
Bottle open: <1 Week
Aroma: Very clean, bright, and fresh. A pleasant, generic tequila smell. Mandarin orange (lacks the bite of a regular orange, very smooth citrus), ripe mango. Constant inhalation mutes the fruit notes and brings out vanilla and shortbread. Perhaps some caramel or butterscotch, but not dark enough for toffee .
Flavor: Hits the tongue with the impression of being very low acid. All the burn is in the throat. Mouthfeel is thick, but dissipates quickly.
Chewing: Green plantain.
Aeration: Vanilla.
Exhalation: Shortbread.
Overall pleasant, but not exciting. Would mix well in simple cocktails. A great introductory lowlands tequila for those use to drinking fruity highlands tequilas.
