Nose: typical Heaven Hill dusty candied corn nose
Taste: lots of cinnamon and peppercorn
Finish: medium
At $130 in the Louisville Evan Williams Experience tour gift shop, this isn’t any better than most Knob Creek store picks or their 12-year, and those are quite a bit cheaper and easier to find. I wouldn’t seek this out unless you’re a diehard HH/Evan Williams fan.
To me, the EW Single Barrel is a tremendously better value.

This wasn't supposed to be a part of the tasting I took at the EWBE but my wife bought enough misc. crap (including an awesome welcome mat that says "I HOPE YOU BROUGHT BOURBON) plus my bottle of whatever exclusive wax-topped they were offering that she was able to convince the guy pouring to let us sample the 12 and a couple other things that were only supposed to be included with the tour. I thought it was good, and even though I was drinking mine and her samples, I didn't get buzzed enough to think it was worth the asking price.
While I absolutely love knob creek everything, I think this bottle is just as good if not better than knob creek 12 and any store pick I’ve had. Again that’s not sliding knob Creek or anything Jim Beam just how much I like this bottle
