Surprising enjoyable for the price. Slight vanilla with a hint of guava. A moderate fruity finish that is a wee heavy on the heat at first but mellowing quickly. Nice but wouldn't call it meticulously balanced--that is, it's a bit rough around the edges. This was a 2003 barrel.
