Sup, Matthew McConaughey. Currently finishing this sexy looking bottle in my new Lincoln.
Nose has sour wood, sugar, cherry, lemon.
Body has baking spices, oak, syrup.
Finish is gentle, with black pepper and licorice.
This drinks like water. I don’t love the profile, and the best part for me is the nose. The body feels empty and is hard to enjoy. This will likely turn into a mixer or that whiskey you put nearby for that periodic “one final drink when it doesn’t matter,” and I likely won’t ever buy again.

@Milliardo if they legitimately release a Swanson bottle I pray it is wrapped in plaid and I promise I will fashion a wooden box for the thing - including the box would likely disappoint Ron, who could clearly do it better himself
@PBMichiganWolverine my buddy and I were just discussing this exact same thing. Couldn’t agree more. We couldn’t remember the name of the guy and kept calling it the “Ron Swanson bottle”…. Which… to be fair… feels accurate
Out of all these celebrity spirits, I think the only one that personifies the whiskey to the celebrity is probably Lagavulin Offerman edition
Yeah I found this one thin and weak as well. MP all the way PB
@PBMichiganWolverine could that BE any funnier?
@PBMichiganWolverine hahaha
@PBMichiganWolverine 🤣
@Milliardo when I think of Matthew McConaughey, I think of scrappy rugged. This bottle was not that. More of a Matthew Perry than a Matthew McConaughey.
