Nose - definitely smelling the wood on top of the peat Palate - strong wood and peat but also getting some sherry or meat flavors Finish - starts off full and coating then a little sharp and tapers off with great flavor and a smoky after taste that lingers - one of the best finishes I’ve had Overall - upgrade for me over standard laphroaig for the darker/wood tones plus the finish - this is great
