Palate - Viscous and oily, toffee, pumpkin muffin, rich oak, brisket crust, chocolate covered cherries, and notable rye or ethanol bite. Finish is medium-long with hot rye spices, black pepper, cocoa, toffee, rye bread, and medium ethanol kick. This one is an absolute winner, and a major step up from the standard 6Y rye. For $25 more this is a no-brainer upgrade if you see it, and unique tasting compared to many ryes in this price range.
