Nose: Rye spice, underlying vanilla, sweet subtle oak, stone fruit.
Palate: first thing that hits is the peppery note from the rye, then a red fruit sweetness, light sugar syrup, and a touch of oak.
Finish: big cherry note on the finish with a warm lingering spice (more pepper than baking spice).
Overall: A decent pour, but probably wouldn’t buy again. The spice isn’t overwhelming, but I wish there was more richness to balance it out like caramel/vanilla notes or nuttiness.
